We meet at 9:30 a.m. for breakfast by the fire. After explaining the morning’s schedule and giving instructions, we set off directly on foot, as the meeting point is in the center of the territory.<\/p>\n
Duck drives are made up of 3 stalks. Positions are drawn by lot and shooters are scattered at strategic locations, sometimes far apart. Pond lifts last around 40 intensive minutes, during which the ducks fly by the hundreds at any height and sail from one pond to the next. At the end of each hunt, it’s time to collect the game, and each search in the water or reeds is as much a pleasure as a duty for the hunter and his dog. (If you don’t have a dog, we’ll help you with our retrievers).<\/p>\n
Around 1:30 pm, the painting is set up on the terrace, in a geometric design, while you enjoy a glass of Champagne and some canap\u00e9s. Lunch is served with Burgundy grands crus. At around 3:30 pm, everyone can leave with their catch.<\/p>\n
