Hunting with a pointing dog in front of either

Pointing dog hunting is done in small teams of at least 4 guns, with your own dogs. We can also put our retrievers and pointing dogs at your disposal.

The La Rabolière estate is very pleasant to hunt in front of, as it is varied: you can walk along old hedges and come across small fields of game crops, rush meadows or welcoming copses. The biotope is wild, undulating and full of game of all kinds – a pointing dog’s paradise.

Hunting season

From general opening (3rd Sunday in September) to closing on February 28.

Hunting day schedule

We meet at 9 a.m. for breakfast by the huge fireplace. After explaining the day’s schedule and giving instructions, we set off on foot, as the meeting point is in the center of the territory.

Around 12:30, back at the house, a fine lunch is served with fine Burgundy wines. Without lingering too long, we’re off hunting again until around 6pm (depending on the season). A refreshment is served during the tableau and the distribution of the trolleys.

Details of this hunt:

  • About forty cartridges are required.
  • If you have less than 4 guns, we can complete the group.
  • The expected, but not limited, picture is of 10 pieces per rifle.
  • Individual kennels are available for dogs.
  • Only the part for your guide is an essential use.
  • Semi-automatic rifles are prohibited.
